Product pages

The product page is the Product information section. Its blocks can be reordered, removed or duplicated, and app blocks can be added anywhere in the column.

Variants and swatches

The Variant picker block shows options as pills or dropdowns. When an option value has a color or image swatch in Shopify, the pill shows the swatch. Unavailable combinations are marked so shoppers don't hit dead ends. Selecting a variant updates the price, stock, pickup, media and URL without reloading.

Combined listings (Shopify Plus): when an option value belongs to a different product, the pill links straight to that product.

Subscriptions

When a product has selling plans from a subscription app, the Subscription options block shows a one-time / subscribe toggle and the list of plans with their prices. Product cards and the product catalog can also show subscription prices.

Buy buttons

• Quantity selector that respects B2B minimums, maximums and increments.
• Dynamic checkout buttons (Shop Pay, Apple Pay and others) and the Shop Pay Installments banner.
• Stock status with an optional low-stock message.
• Local pickup: shows the nearest pickup location and a list of every location with its address and pickup time. Enable local pickup in Settings › Shipping and delivery.

Gift cards

For gift card products, shoppers can tick I want to send this as a gift and enter the recipient's email, name, a message and a send date. Shopify emails the gift card on that date. Turn this off in the Buy buttons block if you don't need it. The gift card page shows the code, balance, a QR code and an Apple Wallet button.

B2B quantity rules and volume pricing

For B2B customers on Shopify Plus, the product page lists quantity rules (minimum, maximum and increments) and a volume pricing table when the catalog has price breaks. Nothing shows for regular customers.

Media

The gallery supports images, videos, YouTube and Vimeo, and 3D models with a View in your space button for AR. Thumbnails can be navigated with the arrow keys. Assign images to variants to show the right image when a variant is chosen.

Product cards

• Quick add adds single-variant products straight to the cart. Products with options open the product page.
• Second image on hover fades to the product's second image on devices that support hover.
• Badges come from badge: tags; on sale and sold out are automatic.
• Fallback artwork: products without images show an illustrated bottle, shot, box or bundle in your illustration palette.

Featured product section

Add the Featured product section to any page to sell a product without leaving it. It includes the full media gallery (images, video and 3D), price, variant picker, quantity, add to cart, accelerated checkout buttons and Shop Pay Installments, plus app blocks, text and Custom Liquid blocks.

Recommendations

The Product recommendations section shows related products from Shopify's recommendation engine, or complementary products you set in the Search & Discovery app.
